Selection issues in ae 7
Hi all,
A bit of a technical issue question. Has anyone experienced selection issues with ae 7.0 using either a mouse or stylus on a tablet?
Myself and a co-worker find that when selecting one layer in ae, often multiple layers will highlight at once and it is a workflow annoyance.
I tried adjusting the pressure on my stylus in the Wacom settings, but to no avail. Any suggestions on how to resolve? I checked adobe
known issues and it is not listed. This has never been an issue on any version 4.1 – 6.5 that I have used.If many of you have this problem I’ll be glad to discuss with adobe.

yep, i get this too, with a mouse. and i know loads of others that have it too. it only seems to affect mac’s as far as i can tell.

seems that the app is too slow: you click, then move the mouse and AE thinks you’re dragging with the mouse still down: hence the multiple selection…
Adobe is always very slow with releasing bugfixes in my experience, we’d be lucky to get 7.0.0.1 one year after it’s release 8-(, if ever…
