I am making a selection in Photoshop using the magnetic lasso tool. I would like then to modify my selection to improve it. As far as I know, in Photoshop Elements there is the selection brush tool but I can’t find it in Photoshop CS2. Where can I find it? If it’s not there, how can I modify the selection?

I have never heard of the “Selection Bruch’ tool before. You can modify your selection multiple ways. Below are a few:

With a selction tool active, pressing the ‘shift’ key will allow you to add to your selection and pressing the ‘alt’ key will subtract from the selection.

You could save your selection as an alpha channel or mask and edit that with any of the paint tools.

Or you could use the pen tool instead of the lasso and create a vector path that you can edit and make a selection from.

make your selection, then hit the “q” button to make a quick mask. Your brush will now become a selection brush. Hit “q” again to exit quick mask mode.
