  Selecting, Cutting and Dragging…

  Hello,

  I am quite new on InDesign and have a problem.
  Recently i am working on a book which is consisting of severel PDF files. I place these files into InDesign and do some trimming like resizing them or masking some text fields.

  The problem is I cannot choose, for instance, a field which contains a text. Just like in old program “Paint”, do we have chance to select any field with a simple rectangular frame and include the selected field in that frame so to move it anywhere (Believe me not too far away just a couple of inches).

  I tried several ways to do it but none of the attempts helped.
  Such a great program must have something so simple for this I believe but I couldn’t figure it out.
