Selecting anchors in AI
Is ther any way to increse the disply size of anchors and handles in AI? They are so small and hard to select to edit a spline. Also, is there a way to increse the size of the area (sensitivity) of when the mouse pointer actually selects the anchor point or handles? Seems very hard and time consuming from being so small. Even if I zoom in.

There is no way to increase the size of bezier points/handles.
Try turning on view >> Smart guides. This might help you better target your bezier point/handles.
