If I am on the timeline, Is there a keyboard shortcut to select a cutpoint in order to place a transition on them. I know I can press up or down to move the cursor there, but how can I get that area to become highlighted without touching the mouse. Thank You In Advance…

    oh, ok, you absolutlely rock!
    got another question.
    so how do I,

    1. toggle the selection on and off, (when I hit v again it just switches between the linked audio clip)
    2. lets say I just wanted to access these the selection on the audio track 3 & 4 at that cut point.

Cmd-Shift-A deselects all. The autoselect buttons control what tracks are selected with the V key. The lowest autoselected video or audio track gets selected with the V key. Cmd and the keypad number toggles the video tracks on and off. Option and the keypad track number toggles the audio tracks on and off.

    All the best,

    Tom

[Tom Wolsky] “Cmd and the keypad number toggles the video tracks on and off.”

Not if you’re in multi-cam… Then it’s remap time.
