  • “SELECT ALL TRACKS FORWARD” error

I’m working on a project and when I use the “Select all tracks forward” tool, portions of the sequence that I don’t want highlighted (from earlier in the cut) are highlighted against my will and subsequently moved which really messes up the sequence…. usually, its a clip on the second audio track… ive read some older posts about this same problem, but the two solutions (new sequence or trashing preferences) dont work for my problem. any advice?

I think it’s because some of the ‘earlier’ clips are linked to clips forward of your selection.
Try turning off ‘Linked Selection’ in the ‘Edit’ Menu. (I think that’s what will stop it.)

    Hello there,
I’m currently dealing with the same issue.

Using the Select multiple tracks tool to move a segment of the sequence
forward also grabs previous sections of the timeline.

I have tried changing sequences, trashing preferences, loading the sequence on another system but the bug stills there.

    Any solutions?

    Regards,
