Select all clips after the CTI?
Hi
This is a real newbie question so apologies if it’s trivial to most of you.
I’m working on my first project in Premier after many years using Media 100 and FCP. So far I’m liking it a lot but there is one thing I can’t work out how to do that has always been simple in every other NLE I’ve used. I want to select all the clips after the CTI (downstream) in the sequence and drag them as a group – there must be a keyboard shortcut for this but I can’t find it.

Using the Track Select Tool (shortcut: A), hold down shift to select all tracks. You can select all tracks to the right of wherever you click in the timeline, so click just to the right of the CTI. Switch back to the regular Selection Tool (V) to grab and drag the selected clips/tracks.
Now here’s the stumper: There doesn’t seem to be any way to select tracks BACKWARDS in time (to the left), or select one track in both directions.

The ‘track select tool’ (Ctrl/Opt – A) will select all downstream clips in the track that you click on. If you Shift-Click it will select all clips on all tracks. This selects all track downstream of your cursor, not your CTI but it works the same.
