    Hi,

If I have a timeline full of about 100 clips, is there any way to select the last 25 clips at once to delete them? In other words I want to pick a clip, and select all clips forward, and delete them without having to select each one individually. Is there a tool that will select all clips forward or backward from a point that I pick?

    Thanks,

You could use Shift+Z to Zoom the project into view and then use the Select tool (A) to click your mouse and draw a selection around the last 25 clips and press the Delete key. It’s not as elegant as having a single “delete from here to end” command but it’s better then selecting clips individually. 😉

An alternative way would be to hit command shift 2 to open the timeline index.

Select the first clip you want to delete in the list, and then shift select the last and press delete.

You can also drag select clips in the index as well.

Man, I keep forgetting about the timeline index. I need to use that more often. I like that way even better.
