    Hi,
    I have a problem with the MC5.
Each time I’m trying to quit it I get the following message:
“Segmentation fault” in thread “Main Tread” at address 0x0
when I press OK I see the “Beach Ball” rolling endlessly to the point that I need to do a force-quit.
    What I need to do?

If your version and System match (yesterday was a release of 5.0.8 to match with 10.6.6) then, I’d do an uninstall/reinstall of MC. That’s the ‘first tier’ response when I’m having a crash with media composer.

Well, if it worked up till yesterday, and now crashes, either something changed or something became corrupt.

Trash the user settings/site settings and see if it fixes this.

Try clearing bin memory before quitting. I think it’s caused by MC not having enough RAM at quitting time. I get it a lot. And yes, my system is 100% avid qualified.
