Seeking advice related to rendering and temperatures
Recently I was concerned about my CPU rendering at high temps (80-85ºC) through Vegas Pro 16’s own rendering presets, so I looked up a way to solve the issue. I found out about a method that involved changing the encoder settings to the following:
Encode Mode: NV Encoder
Preset: High Quality
RC Mode: VBR
At first I thought it made my software render quicker and use less CPU power, but then I looked over MSI Afterburner and saw this. The temps kept fluctuating between 40 to 80 Cº, which I was told is more hazardous to the parts’ longevity. I would like to hear opinions on what settings I should use for a safer and more appropriate rendering. My specs are as follows:
Asus Maximus IX Code Z270
Core I7 6700k
16gb 3666MHZ
SSD 240gb NVME
GTX 1660 Super 6gb GDDR6
VS750w Corsair
