Hello, I need to make many different object flow through the frame at a slow speed and in a specific order. Since the frame size is small and the objects are many, I need to order them carefully outside, and move them all at once. How can I inspect what’s outside so to be able to work on the objects? At the moment I just can see the object borders, not the content.

    Thanks!

You could create a larger-resolution pre-comp, with a centrally-located box area the size of your final comp. Once you’ve animated everything, nest that pre-comp in your main comp.

Beyond that, you can’t see content outside the canvas in After Effects.
