    Is there a way to see the host video while in Red. I am using FCP, I could do this when i was using M100, but am not sure how to do it or if FCP will do it at all.

    John,

    This should work fine.

    What are the symptoms, are you getting green video?

    First thing you want to check is that your RT setting in Fianl Cut is set to Safe.

    Also make sure you are applying the video filter to video and not a slug.

    Hi John,

    In addition to the advice that Matt offered, you will need to make sure that you have the following option set correctly for image previews:

    Launch RED and select Preview>Image>Update Source
