Ive been using FCP for a few months now and I must ask: is there any way to get around having to constantly keep rendering changes on my timeline? Is there a setting that will automatically render any items that require it? Having to keep selecting the menu option gets to be a pain after a while…

Any input would be much appreciative!

    Thanks,
    JB

In your preferences, you can select minute intervals for automatic rendering.

You can also create buttons for your various render options instead of going to your menu.

Option (apple) R is a keystroke that is in constant use here!!!

learn keystrokes and free yourself from the RSI inducing menus 🙂
