Searching for a sound effect
I’m working on a commercial and I want a particular explosion sound effect. It’s pretty classic from tv shows and other media I’ve seen, but all I can find is a low res version. Can anyone tell me where I can get a high res version of the linked explosion sound effect?

Also, I have an old collection of sound effects that I burned from a friend about 10 years ago that show up as Unix Executable files with a size of 0 and I’d like to get my hands on the original collection. All I know is it was called Sounds 2000. I haven’t found anything searching on the web.

While I will not try to sound too condescending… oh well… so much for that.
There are several locations where you can buy (read… pay for it) like https://www.soundsnap.com/ just check out the conditions of the use permits for Commercials.
I am sure this post is going to start another discussion about the following:

Well, this seems like a clear case of copyright infringement that you admitted too in writing. Regardless of the files now not being usable, admitting in public that you steal other people work is not a good thing.
