  • Searching a way for importing position data from voodoo or icarus …

    Hi!

At ths time im using Voodoo and Icarus for tracking my footage and it works very, very well.

But i don´t know, how i can import that position data into particle illusion.

I whanted to try importing LWS-Date to cinema 4d and than use the ParticleIllusionExporter- but there is no working Download-Link for this free plugin.

    Is there an other way?

    Thanks!

When you export the Voodoo tracking data as “text file”, what information does it provide? If you can modify the data (using a spreadsheet program perhaps) so you only have the following info on each line:

    frame_number x_pos y_pos

Then you can import that into particleIllusion (from text file).

I’d check out Voodoo now and see what data is added to the file, but I have too much to do right now already.

    Alan.
