Hi. I am using FCP 5 and shot some footage on my Sony Z-1 camera. I downconverted from ny deck using the letterbox feature. I’m doing a very short project and am experimenting with different looks. I have images that I have scanned that I need to import into the project. This is simple. However, I’m trying to match the letterbox look from my Z-1 on the imported images/photos.tifs using Final Cut Pro. In my old Avid system this was a breeze to do. However, I am not having much luck matching the lettebox from the Z-1. Can someone steer me to the proper effect to load on the images and how to move the top and bottom black bars to match? Thanks. I know it’s got to be simple, but I can’t figure it out.

Too freaking easy! Avid is not this simple. The more I play with FCP the more I like it.
