Search in File Browser
I don’t understand the search function within the File Browser.
It does not work for me. Have I not understood the concept?
It does not serach through folders, meaning I cannot locate a file
or folder on a drive. It only seraches/filters files within an open folder.
Why is that? Any enlightenment? Thank you…. -

Heya,
It’s not a searching tool, as much as it’s a filtering tool. Motion has them in the File Browser, Library, Media, Layers List, etc. It allows you to quickly filter the list of items being shown, be it footage in the File Browser or a specific object in your project.
