Hi I have a ton of SFX samples on an external FW drive but it takes me sooooo long to find just that sound sample that I remember I have and which is perfect for this (explosion, laser, beam, knock… whatever)

What tool do you pros use to search through thousands of sound loops and samples to find the one you’re looking for???

I now use audition import screen as it will auto-play the file for me or adobe bridge which allows me to tag and add keywords (which I don’t really do too much) but which takes 2 mouse clicks to play a given sample…

    Thank you.

If you work on a Mac, check out Soundminer software. I have used it for years and highly recommend it. You would only need the LE version since you are not in a multi-room audio house sharing soundfile access through a server…

    Info is at http://www.soundminer.com

Video without audio is just surveillance.
