Search for font usage?
I inherited a job that uses a font I don’t have (I get the font-not-found error when I open the project). I was able to remove the one occurence of that font that I could find, but I still get the message. This is a very complex project with many nested comps, so searching manually will be difficult at best. Is there a way to search for occurrences of a particular font? I am using AE CS3 Mac.

I must be missing something…but, the best solution would be to do a search online for the font and download it.
If you don’t know the name of the font… I beleive you can find this in AE… I just can’t remember how this is done. Maybe someone else might be able to post a solution to finding the name of a lost font.

What I am asking is this:
Is it possible to search within an AE project for occurrences of a particular font?
OR – alternatively – is it possible to get AE to show you where in a project an occurrence of a missing font is (not a trivial question in a very complex project)?
