Seamless masking with the same shot
Alright, I’m editing a video of a video game, and there’s a shot where a text box is above the characters in the top half of the frame. I wanted to mask that text box out, but keep the footage of the bottom half and the background. The problem is that no matter what I do, there’s a thin black bar between the two halves of the frame and I can’t get rid of it. I need a seamless coverup.
I’m rendering @ 720p, 60fps, render quality set to “Best”. I’ve checked and it’s not a keyframing issue, and both masks are in the exact same positions.

Don’t know exactly how you did this, but try a little overlap with feathering.
