Seagate 8 TB single hard drive

August 28, 2014 at 2:29 pmBased on the wording of the release, such as “reliability and support for archive workloads”, I am going to guess this is Terascale HDD and, like the 4TB drive in that family, 5,900 RPM. Good for nearline storage, not for primary storage to edit off.
