    I bought a SE-800 mix, and I pluged 3 cameras on it. Useing the analog conection(BNC) and now I want record the final work directly throuth the dv out(fireware)to a laptop. Is that possible, becouse I’ve got no image on the laptop and I tryed throuth the analog output(BNC) but I’ve got no image to. Does anyone can help me the computer is fine, because I conected the camera with the laptop and works. Is there any config at the mix that I didint understend?

    You need computer sofware that will capture DV via firewire.

    It needs to be set to “non-controllable device” so the software does not look for a deck, camera, or running timecode.

    OTOH, it would be more “safe” if you were to record the output to DV TAPE first, then capture to the computer.
