SDI to SDTI?
G’day CC Friends,
Working on a project for our state PBS network – they require programming on DVCPRO50 tape. When we went to transfer rom our Decklink Extreme 3D+ card, via SDI – the deck died. Another deck is available – a Panasonic AJ-SD930. It has an SDTI connection not SDI – though they are similar. Does anyone have any experience with connecting SDI to SDTI – will it work? We don’t want to blow anything and be in a deeper hole than we are.

SDTI, how many years I was not hearing about it!
It should be totally compatible with a standard SDI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_Data_Transport_InterfaceI used it in the past with other SDI devices (not BMD) without problems.
