Ok, I should have know better than to upgrade to Tiger the first week. Anyhow, I’m having problems exporting from my AJA IO via SDI to a Digi deck (Sony A500). Before I launch FCPHD, I can see that the deck is recieving a signal from my IO. All the lights are on (SIF lights CH1-CH4 on the deck that is) and are not flashing. Yet when I launch FCPHD, they start flashing meaning there is no signal. However, I tried to lay off a cut anyway. Video was fine but I’m having some audio static when I playback. Lastly, when I try to Black & Code a blank digi through “Edit to Tape”, timecode starts going crazy. Never had a problem with Panther. Has anyone else had these problems simply by upgrading to Tiger. Please advise.

    Hi-

We do not currently recommend OSX 10.4 Tiger for the Io. We will have a new v2.0 driver, probably being released next week, that will be compatible. In the meantime, AJA Video recommends that our customers stay on OS 10.3.8 until full stability testing on the release version of Tiger is complete.

Thanks AJA…um person. I figured it was Tiger. Frankly, I should have know better. Is it possible you could e-mail me when you guys have the most recent drivers for tiger and or FCP 5? If so, please e-mail me at: drama_ii@yahoo.com. Thank you so much and I love your products. My AJA Io paid for itself the first week I bought it. Thanks again.

    Hi Mike-

Check this forum next week, and there should be a notice about the new drivers.

    Or, of course, call us!

    Thanks-

Always try to black a digi with the internal black & silence generators in the machine.

Besides that you can edit and stripe a tape at the same time!
