  SDI / AUDIO with Kona 2

  Hi all

  Having a slight problem when trying to capture audio from a Digi beta deck using SDI into Kona 2. If I capture audio only, the audio gets captured at a very low level. If I capture 10 bit uncompressed video and audio the audio works fine but I have video I don’t need. If I try and capture offline video quality and full audio quality the audio gets messed up same as above.

  Only problem is when I capture anything but 10 bit uncompressed FCP sets the output volume of the system to 51% and this is causing the low audio levels.

  So does SDI have to be captured as video and audio seeing it is imbedded? or is the kona card messing up in some way?

  can i capture Audio only via SDI?
