  SDI audio levels

  Did a layoff to D5 this weekend with a HD Pro card. Mixer had provided a properly limited file, clamped on top and bottom correctly with no distortion. When imputting into the D5, we noticed in certain places that levels were a bit overmodulated. The deck was set to SDI audio in, PCM.

  Provided the audio was mixed correctly, does SDI embedded audio just go straight across w/o any level adjustment?
