    Hi Seth,

The bad clip resulted from some one turning a camera off while it was still recording. The card was OK. When I downloaded the clip nothing would play or recognize it. I searched around and found aeroquatet. Went through their process and the clip was recovered . BTW I have been using several 32GB Transcend cards with no problems.

    cheers

    Morton

    [Seth Blaustein] “Wrong Type”

Have hacked the EOS plugin? Since FCP L&T will not work with the T2i unless it is hacked?

I downloaded the update, though I never did that convoluted hack. However, the aforementioned short film that I shot with the same t2i and this exact SD card has imported without a hitch into FCP, so I never had the need to.

42nd St called me around 9pm this evening. They want me to send the card back, and established that sometimes equipment just doesn’t work, and they can’t be held responsible if something they sell is faulty, although they do “stand by [their] product”, and will try to fix the issue. I’ll likely be sending it off to them in the morning.

    Hi Guys!

I’m currently in almost the same scenario with you guys! I have a transcend 16GB SDHC class 10 card that is full of MOV files. When my staff is transferring the MOV files into my MAC he accidentally trashed it and emptied the trash leaving no files left in the card.

I have used cardrecovery, even bought it because the trial version said that it can recovered the discovered files. But the files that were recovered are not playable with quicktime and FCP doesn’t recognize it. I realized that is just a gimmick! The files recovered are not usable even by VLC.

Can you suggest to me a better recovery software for my scenario?

    Thanks in advance!
    Archie
