    Hi there,

i’m loking for a solution how to sync my sound to the picture (clap)which i recorded on Dat.To unite these ,and to have a comfortable workflow from the Project window.

I’m lookin for a solution as i now from final cut, where you create subclips which carry both infos automatically

I’m not very happy with the solutions i found so far:

1)Match Image and sound in the timeline, and work with these timelines like clips from the project window

2)Render out the clips(loosing the TC info from the original tap)
    loosing hard disc space.

    Any suggests?
    Thanks & Greetz

First thing: Could you please name the thread accordingly? We get a lot of queries on this forum and it helps to have proper titles. Thanks

Regarding your question, have you tried to group your video & audio files together? What about nested sequences?

    Hi Anarav,

thanks for your response and sorry for the missing item.

I thought about nested sequences, but i think there must be a more clever solution. Beside this i think the whole process is slower if you work with nested sequences.(I got many many takes)
If i group picture and sound i do this in the timeline , right? or is there any possibilitie to bring it back (togehther) in the project window?
My aim is, once i synchronized them , to work with them like one clip from the project window.

My only recommendation based on your requirements is to created nested sequences. Working with nested sequences is certainly not slow.
