    SD Rendering From HD Project

    I have an HD project that is 1920×1080 with Boris Red Transition Effects in the timeline. When I export the project in HD, the effects render correctly. When I export to SD 720X480, the effects look as though they are not scaled to the SD resolution. Is this a project setting in Boris Red that is wrong?

    Hi,

    Where are you setting the render size? Are you scaling on the host output or changing the host project settings? What host are you using?

    Hi Peter,

    My Host is Premiere CS5.5. I have found that if I export directly from Premiere instead of queuing to Media Encoder, it works as expected. I don’t know if it’s an Adobe problem or something missing in the metadate sent to Media Encoder. Anyone else able to duplicate this scenario?
