hi all first post [and last hopefully]

I captured and completed a full edit of a project in SD thinking that no blu ray delivery was needed [if i know blu ray is needed i capture and edit in HDV and simply export the appropriate filesi.e. down rez’d sd dvd]. I now find out that there is indeed a blu ray disc needed. i am wanting to recapture the project in HDV and export for encore blu ray files. but i can’t figure out how to do it.

from what i understand, the project itself is regular dv and there is no way to change the resolution of the timeline so even if i delete the source files there is no way to recapture hdv in this project [please prove me wrong].

is there a way to export the timeline or a edl so i don’t have to re edit the entire program again?

What version of Premiere? If it is Cs3 then you can create a new hdv project and import the original project into the hdv project. You can cut and paste what is in the SD timeline onto the new HDV timeline offline the media, capture HDV from tape and everything should be reconnected.

I’ve run into the same problem. However I need to recapture all of my footage in HDV that was originally captured in SD. Can this be done with Premiere Pro CS3? I have imported my old SD project into my new HDV project and all of the SD AVI files are offline – can I somehow recapture them all as HDV (MPEG2) format?
