  SD PIP in a HD comp (x-post in HD forum)

  I’ve been asked to rebuild a spot in 720p 59.94 which was shot and cut in SD. The bulk of the spot is picture in picture. I am going to make it entirely PIP to avoid stretching the SD. I am concerned, however, about adapting the 30i SD framerate to the 60p HD rate. I’d hate to have to apply a de-interlace filter, but fear that may be what is required.

  Your thoughts greatly appreciated.
