I haven’t had the chance to do much editing recent with SD and HD footage lately, but can someone offer a solution? I have a 720p 59.94 timeline that already has HD footage from a Canon DSLR. I want to import some P2 SD footage to the program. I can import it into the bin, but of course it won’t match the timeline. Any ideas how I can successfully intercut this P2 SD footage into this HD timeline? I am using Media Producer 13.01

If you want to make it easy for you, give the “Suite 2” a try (assuming you are running on an Intel Mac and you have the chance to upgrade to OS X 10.6). There you can mix different frame sizes in the timeline in realtime.
Or you could convert your SDfootage to HD fitrst, e.g. In AE or Compressor. Or via a “Slowimport” via the Media100 import window into your ode and framesize of choice. But the quality is not the greatest this way. Suite2 makes it really easy.
