SD Capture Anomaly
I just captured some BetaSp footage at 8 bit uncompressed using a Kona LHe card in my QuadCore. I am seeing the full image on playback plus some additional black space on the right side of the frame. The additional black area on the edge of the frame is about 6 lines wide. I also notice the same thing at the top of the frame, but that additional black is only about 2 lines in width and oddly only on half of the frame. The DV footage I captured has none of these issues. Is there a setting in the capture card software that could be causing this glick? Thanks

A bit strange I know, but I am answering my own question in the interest of information sharing. After about an hour or so on the phone with AJA tech Steve, we determined the LHe capture card failed. We tried everything including uninstalling and reloading the software with the latest version. Super customer support from the AJA guys. I’ll repost if it turns out not to be the card – heaven help me then.
