    Hello all !

    Well,
I try to use sculpting mod but when I use for instance, the simple brush, and make some lines,
there are jagged edges, like it is aliased.
This is why I subdivide the mesh throught the subdivide button/function of the sculpting mod.

I subdivide it until 5 levels and reached 2,1504 millions polygones.
But when I use brush, lines are still jagged.

Does it mean that I have to subdivide one more time ? Meaning 2×4=8millions ?

I have not tested because I never reach this number of polygones in c4d.

ps: My final aim is to use typography on this model (around it), but this ‘quality’ or this issue can’ t be usable I think.

    Am I missing something ?

2screenshot of th model at it lowest subdision and few lines I did on this model on the higher level with ‘standart’ brush and setting.

    Thank you by advance.

Generally the way to avoid that, without going to insane polygon counts, is to follow up your sculpting strokes with the smoothing brush. You can invoke the smoothing brush while using any other brush by holding down the shift key. Keep in mind that the strength of smoothing is controlled by the setting in the smooth brush, even if you’re using the shift modifier with a different brush.
