For the last month or so, my Huge media vault boots fine, shows up on the desktop, but does not appear in the first level of the finder. I have to click on “my computer” to see it in the second column. Sure would like to have it back where it belongs. Only clue I can think of is relating to an OS upgrade, the RAID on that unit was set in Tiger, but about 3 versions ago.

Clues? BTW, my Promax Firemax RAID and LaCie backup drive are still living in the finder.

    Have a wonderful day.

I’d post this in the Huge forum.

Better yet, call them directly and work with their Tech Support to ensure you don’t cause any damage to your media or the drives.

Well this is strange, Huge tech told me to repair permissions on my HD by booting off my install disc, and after I did that I was able to physically drag the Huge disk over to the finder! Couldn’t do that before! So it’s fixed.

    Have a wonderful day.
