    Hi,
There is this technique I ve seen where video clips scroll by like ticker-tape but are of video clips that are running independantly.

    Q. What is this called and can this be doen on Vegas?

    Thanks,
    Roger

I would call it a “filmstrip” effect.

You can resize your video using track motion, then add the movement using two keyframes (start and end position). Once you get the duration and motion worked out, you can duplicate the track, then offset the keyframes so the video on that track follows the first one.

Just had this thought as well:

You could resize all your videos (on different tracks)and place them side by side using track motion, then move them in unison using parent motion controls on a new video track after making the video tracks into compositing children of the movement track.
