Activity Forums VEGAS Pro scrolling thru font choices

  • scrolling thru font choices

Right now when I highlight text in the text generator then click on the font dropdown list…
I can scroll my mouse wheel and it will quickly preview through the font choices right on the preview TV monitor. therefore making choices really easy and fast for a client sitting next to me.
However…It will stop and continue no further when it reaches certain fonts.
IE: Arabic, turkish, others that dont specify.
Unfortunately I have to drop down the list and pick another further down the list and continue my search.
1- is there a way to make vegas scroll thru these or over them.
2- do I have to remove them from my “windows” font folder to get it to work.
It seems that it is all of the foreign languages. But maybe there is some that arent that I might use in “Word” for example.

anyone run into this, have a remedy ??

I’ve noticed that too. I just click on the font name and click the one above or below the one it gets stuck on and then continue.

    I know.
Any thoughts on whether its “Non-english” fonts or do they include other oddities.
I’ve learned that its not random.
I’ll take the (long) time to get rid of the offending fonts if it was really just Non english fonts.
Any relation to whether it is non “truetype” or “open”

I dont have issues with the free ones from “Dafont.com”

I belive it *is* related to non-truetype. It’s not just “non-english”, though.
