Scrolling Text End Credits (for dummys)
Time for our credits, but final cut does a lousy job with scrolling text. I guess I have Photoshop, Motion and After Effects but I’m novice with those programs, Is there any place you can get a scrolling text template or does anyone have some advice so that I can bang these credits out without learning a whole new program?

Does it scroll smoothly? The final cut scrolling text tends to bomb up and down a bit as it scrolls by.
Do you have any examples of work you’ve done like this? Any credit scrolls?

I find it very easy to use and it does scroll smoothly. Open your Quicktime Player and under the file menu, select “Open URL” paste in the following:https://aviewfromthehearse.com/Videos/Rainy Day.mov
I made this movie for a friend and it is HighDef a bit large but let it download a bit before you start playing it or it may stutter because it has not downloaded enough.
You can save it to your hard disk to watch over again and it does run smooth. Also the graphic at the end of the roll is an option with this plugin.

I agree with David wholeheartedly – the CHV plug-in is the best solution for credit rolls in FCP. There is no jitter.
