  ScriptSync/Phrasefind and Scottish Accents

  Hi all,
  Posted about this over on the Avid MC Forum, but figured I’d ask here, just in case.

  We’re about to start on a feature, and are trying to decide between Media Composer and Ultimate MC. The main decision factor is ScriptSync/Phrasefind.

  Can anyone please tell me if ScriptSync and/or Phrasefind are able to handle Scottish accents? I saw a post about this from 2012, but that was regarding Irish accents, and anyway I’m sure things have improved since then.

  I remember hearing that Siri and Alexa were having issues with Scottish accents a while ago, so I’m wondering if Avid has the same problems.
