ScriptSync
Does anybody know if there is easy way to have the clips in ScriptSync display something other than the “Name” column from the bin. (Without renaming the clips.) Clips are .m2t files being imported, naming convention is yyyymmdd-hhmmssg.xx (20100225-145312g.01) Would rather have scene column displayed,(much easier to read!)

Duplicate the file name into another column and rename the NAME to something useful…

That’s what I’m ending up doing, but that’s a lot of copying and pasting, was hoping for a less labor intensive, less carpel-tunnel inducing method. Best guess at this point, over ten thousand files.

If you ilight the entire column you can do a “command-D or control D” and copy its entire contents to another column in one step.
