Are there any disadvantages to using stories instead of scripts for authoring in dvdsp, especially, if the final disc is to be replicated? I have been trying to use scripting to do an ALL PLAY to no avail, but making an ALL PLAY as a story is very simple.

I do still want to figure out scripting, I have seen a couple of tutorials for scripting an ALL PLAY button and most of them are using different tracks, when I follow the procedure step by step everything always jumps to the menu. Is there something that needs to be done differently if there is only one track with chapter markers and I want to have chapters jump back to the menu unless the ALL PLAY is triggered?

    Thanks, Wayde

There is no need to use scripts for what you’re doing. Stories will work just fine on DVD-R or DVD-Video (replicated discs).

It’s useful to know how to expand your playback logic via scripts, but again, no need for it in your case.
