Scripting server integration?
I would like to write a script that will copy files from a network path to a local computer automatically on starting after effects. I am aware of the startup scripts folder.
1. How do I call the server and feed it the password with after effects scripting. Is there an implimentation or do I have to do straight java?
2. is there a way to copy paste from one directory to another once connected to the server.
3. I would also be interested in knowing the proper syntax of pointing one script to another. I am familiar with nesting scripts. but if the two scripts arent in the same folder what is the syntax for navigating to the called scripts folder?
