I use CS4. I have the PDF for the “CS3 After Effects” scripting guide, and the ExtendScript (v3). Neither tool seems to offer an easy way to view or search the Object Model. Are the details available in any other format, e.g: Windows format Helpfile?

Other than ExtendScript, does anyone have any preferred alternatives when scripting javascript for AE?

Ill jump on this as well. Why isn’t there an object-model reference in the object model viewer for After Effects? It is so handy for photoshop etc. It might exist though and it’s just me not knowing about it.

Wow, this is timely. I just started scripting today with the extendscript tool and noticed no AE object model. Glad to see I’m not alone.

11 years later, can we get a bump? Thought I was dumb but where is that DOM?
