  script to get an adjustment layer from one comp to another

  hi

  I’ve been trying all day to do this but my java skills are not quite up to it.
  I have a comp with a single adjustment layer which has a number of effects applied.
  I need to retrieve all the effects from that layer and add them to a layer in another comp.
  alternatively I could just use a script to essentially copy and paste the whole layer.
  any pointers greatly appreciated.
