  Script to fix motion project with Photoshop folders

  I was wondering if anyone knows of a script or would be willing to make one which would convert a motion project with photoshop file containing folders into a motion project with groups?

  The Photoshop import into motion is great but unfortunately the folders in Photoshop aren’t turned into groups in motion. I assume it wouldn’t be a massive job to open a Motion XML file and turn the photoshop non-groups into groups?

  I guess it could go something like this:

  1. Open a new project in Motion
  2. Import a Photoshop file with layers
  3. Save project
  4. Process saved Motion XML file to identify Photoshop folders (i.e. size? Couldn’t have empty layers since their size is 1 as well)
  5. Turn them into groups and sort out hierarchy

  Would this work? Does anyone know of a script that already does this?
