Script numbering

Excuse me for my deplorable English, I’m French and not very good in English!
Here’s my worry, I have a photos number where I must place numbers directly on the photo. If I number them one by one, I’ll lose some time. In searching the web I found some tracks, as what it would be possible to create a java script that could make me an automatic dialing. A friend has given me the name of your forum, telling me that I could probably find my answerI do not deny that I’m pretty pressed for time ^ ^
