Script for stretch & compress in a event
Is there a existing script to set back to normal speed a compressed/stretched clip?
And also if there is a script that would set clip to a certain speed by a percentage duration?
Like for example you selected a clip & you want to slow it down or sped it up by 30% or 50% or 70%, depending on what is set/programmed on the script.Thanks..

I just add a velocity envelope to the event. If you right click on the first key you can set/reset the percentage
of compression or stretch.

My take on his question is that he want’s to apply it to the whole project, hence the script to save time, especially when you have more than 2 or 3 events.

That’s a good one but what i needed is something applicable for multiple clips..like for example i want clips 1, 2, 3, 4 to be 50% slow, then 5, 6, 7, 8 to be 30 % then same also to other clips. Selective copying paste & event attributes is my workaround with these but if other alternative like script is available to make it faster then i’ll go for it.

Thank you @Francois, but I already have purchased Vegasaur & it would cost me to buy again a extension program for Vegas with nearly same identical functions, i just needed these kinds of script if it’s available for free & if anyone has this kind of script to share. But if its not available then its ok.

Ramil, Vegasaur will do that task. You just need to have it change the playback rate.

In Vegasaur’s Quick Properties set Playback Rate to the desired speed (1 = 100%, 2 = 200%, 0.5 = 50% i.e. half speed):
