  • Script for a custom superscript size?

Does anyone know of a script that will allow us to set a size and baseline shift for a superscript character, relative to the text that it accompanies?

Obviously you can set it in the advanced type preferences, which we have. We use that setting for doing superscript in our body copy. (Ours is set rather low at 40%/40%.) Problem is, the way our title styles are set up, using the same preference for superscript looks odd. The superscript is too big, and not shifted up far enough.

So basically, I want something that will reduce the superscript character by an additional 82%, and shift it up by an additional 18% of the title size.

So if I had a 44pt title, I would want a 36pt superscript, and additional 11pt baseline shift. Make sense? Is that something that is difficult to do, or even write ourselves? Thanks.

    G’day Max

Did you ever find a way to do this?

I looked into it a little, but it seems that superscript is a document-wide preference.

I’d love to know if you managed to crack it.
