I have a screen shot of a webpage, and it looks good in the video as a still. However when I start scrolling it, even slightly, in pan crop in Vegas, it flickers a lot and distorts as it moves. I’ve turned on the reduce interlace flicker switch. What else can I try? The problem is the same with various formats at various resolutions. What works for you?
    thanks,

Mary — make sure your render quality is set to “best” for this type work. If “best” doesn’t fix it for you, then try adding a super sampling enevelope with a setting around 4. Super Sampling will definitely make it crystal clean, but at a cost of render time. Experiement a bit on a short segment to get the right quality to render time ration that is acceptable to you.

One other thing I meant to add:

When editing projects that consist mostly of video footage, there’s no need to set rendering to “Best”. “Good – Full” is all you need. The only time you need to go to “Best” is when sourcing elements that are higher resolution than your current project, such as digital pictures or computer screen shots. Otherwise, you’ll just increase your render times for no visible benefit.
