  • Screen Splitting during fast sequences

    Hi All,

I’m new here, but the site is fantastic. I’m sure this will be the first post of many!

I am editing some sequences together which involve quick moving footage. The particular shot I’m having problems with is a continuous shot of some trees which line a main road (shot out of the side of a car window). But when I play it back in the canvas window, the screen is splitting horizontally. I get these awful black lines throughout the clip.

I have had this problem on previous projects but never been able to find a solution.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated! Thanks.

I saw that when applying some FxPlugs with a short GPU.

No idea about the split screen issue, but I would recommend you that, unless you are delivering in XDCAM, change your sequence codec to Prores. Easier and faster rendering.
That may fix as well the screen issue.
